I decided that I needed a different blog to showcase, and maybe even sell, my art work. My other blog "heksa & katten" should have been mostly about interiour design, my life and househunting ect. So when I realized I did more and more artsy posts, I knew it was time for a new blog dedicated purely to art. And I decided to do this one in english. For all my Scottish, American and other foreign friends to read :)
So Inside the Fairytale was born. It is the old name of my web site dedicated to pixel art, I fancy the name alot, so I decided to keep it :)
In time I will change the layout, make it more mine, as it were. But for now I just want to post my art and let it be with that.
First I must advice you all to click these pictures, so you can view them in a larger size. I honestly belive they look alot better when in proper size.
On to the works.

"A Moonlight Cup of Delight" was my first artpiece in so long. I had nearly forgotten how it feels to create something on paper. It was great and I felt so proud. Now though I think it could have been done so much better. It is a mixed media of watercolours, polychrome pencils, ink and some acrylic white. I gave this to a friend of mine when it was done. The scanner screwed up the colours.
"In the Morning" is another mixed media piece. Created with the same as above. This one really was just to make me feel fuzzy inside. Nothing majour or brilliant. Just for fun.
"Dragonlfy Nymph" I took an old pixel doll I had done and wanted to make it into "real" art, so to speak. She was great fun to do, allthough also very hard because of the gradent in her dress that went from green to blue. But I was severly happy when she was done, and I think I did a fairly good job on her. Allthough the scanner completely killed the colours. And she looks much better in real life.

"The Witching Hour" is my favorite, and the latest one I have done. I love the sky in this, although it was a sure pain to do. The colours are also my favorite colours, and well... I am just happy with it overall. My biggest and most detailed piece.
